At Matador Pizza we have always strived to use the best quality local ingredients we can find. This concept has extended to our liquor and beer menus as well.
We are very excited to have been partners with the Half Hitch Brewing Company which is a family owned and operated brewery in the nearby town of Cochrane. Their mission is to serve Cochrane and it’s surrounding area with high quality craft beer in a unique barn house experience. The brewery is their family’s second home, and those who enter through their doors will be treated like family.
This commitment to family values is what attracted us to them originally and the quality of their brews is what sealed the deal!
We are currently carrying two of their craft beers in our line up.
The first is the Shotgun Wedding Ale – This brown ale is made with the finest British chocolate, crystal, and caramel malts that results a rich and complex taste.
We also have Fire N’ Fury Red Ale – This red ale uses the choicest Caramel Munich malts giving it a rich caramel flavour with hints of toffee and fruit.
Both of these brews pair perfectly with bolder foods like steaks, spicy wings, cheesecake and, of course, our signature Greek style pizzas!
